So Hunny had 24-hour duty Monday where he stays at work overnight. Sounds crummy but I think he secretly likes it. You get to spend all night taking care of errands and to dos AND you get the whole next day off. So he was off Tuesday and we went to an Ice Gallery with a friend and her kids, one of them is in Scouts and Hunny teaches him.Hunny got home at 9:30am and we headed out shortly thereafter and hopped on the subway. Talk about STICKY out! It was overcast, not super hot, but Muggy like nobody's business. Might not have been so bad but we were in pants because we were going to be going into this FREEZING room. Best idea on a hot day right??
The area we were around was actually quite nice. There was an interesting street with all kinds of eateries and cafes, a few jewelry and clothing stores as well. We went in and paid and got to pick from quite the array of coats. Seemed very professional to me... Glad I picked a long pea coat because there was this AWESOME ice slide that I did a few times. There were all kinds of items carved out of ice. Need to go to the bathroom? Got ya covered. Wanna play piano? Set up with music and everything. Then there were the different popular building structures, but not N Seoul Tower...? All pretty neat anyway. There was even an igloo!! Loved it! Sat with some Eskimos and kissed a polar bear. But at -5°C(23°F) we didn't lasted long enough. It was our numbing hands that encouraged us to came out.
Time to make our own ice sculptures!! Well, at least a mug. :) We all got a block of ice and a kind Korean showed us how to make a mug or a 'wineglass'. We all set to work. It was super fun to carve and scrape. Maybe because it was hot out and the ice was cold. It started off as a mug. Hunny got it to looking quite nice and then handed it over to me to finish up and I... kind of broke the handle off... Wineglass it is! Hunny and I took turns carving and taking pictures. After our masterpiece was complete we got to drink Orange Soda out of it, except some how there was a hole in the side. Oh well, we don't need soda ;)

Well, that was fun! On the way back there was this neat little shop in the subway that we stopped in and looked around. Same kind as most, paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, art supplies, board games, office supply shops here. So pretty much our favorite kind. We were actually in there for quite a while. We ended up getting a "Go" board game, a glass paint set and Hunny got some weird official looking name tag lanyards for some reason. We watched Ocean's recently and I'm thinking he is wanting to try to replicate a tag to sneak in somewhere. :)Considering Hunny had ZERO sleep last night, we had a great time. He is such a trooper. I love my sweet Hunny and am so grateful for his sense of adventure and never being held back.

I love you too Bee. It was a fun adventure!
