Cherry Blossom Festival

So since we're in Asia, cherry blossoms are a big deal here. So much so that there was a festival for it. We headed over with a family from the branch right after church.
I wish ya'll could've seen the looks Hunny was getting from not only being so tall, but from having Melody on his shoulders. People were literally gawking and pointing. Hunny sort of used to it by now seeing as he gets it time to time for his height. I think he secretly enjoys it.

As in every other part of Seoul, it was pretty crowded. Quick side story: So being from the South, I was raised with manners. Not that I am saying Koreans weren't, they are very respectful and polite people. But when I first got here I would apologize every time I would bump into somebody. Hunny told me in the first week that you don't have to apologize since it is so crowded even the most polite person will shove you or push you out of the way without a second thought so they can get through. You pretty much have to or you will get washed away in the crowd. Especially the subway station and what not. Whew! Talk about scary. :P

Ok so I would have to say this was the highlight of the festival. There are places around that is just so pretty you have to stop and take pictures. So we stopped and Hunny and I saw this spot at the same time and thought the very same thing. So barely having to say anything, Hunny climbs up and claims his spot.

As usual with Hunny in Korea, all the natives stopped and stared. Many were taking pictures like it was a circus and he was doing unbelievable tricks. Obviously you can tell Hunny was soaking it up.

There was even a group of girls that were brave enough to climb up and take pictures with him. It was pretty funny how scared they were to climb up the tree. But you would've thought Hunny was a celebrity to them and they would do anything to get their picture with him.
