This past weekend my company had got together and had a BBQ. I thought it would be nice for us all to get together outside of work, us and our families, and hang out and socialize so I took charge of putting on this BBQ. Of course, sense I took on this task, Bee played a major part in it too. I am discovering that you can not do anything significant while married without your spouse assisting in the process. Sometimes more than others but he or she is always assisting. She helped me with the shopping, preparing the meat, set up, and cooking. I love her!
I decided to do fresh hamburger patties instead of the frozen bricks because doing it yourself is always better. We bought 13lb of ground beef and about 72 buns along with a few hot dogs. I was a little worried if it would be enough food, or too much but it worked out just right. We were short one package of hamburger buns but luckily that just required a quick trip to the mini-mart. Other than that everything went great.
Everything went just as I hoped it would. It was a gorgeous Spring day to do it on. Most everyone from the Company was able to make it out with his family. The food was delicious. And everyone enjoyed himself playing volleyball or basket ball and baseball, and even just socializing with each other. It was fun. I was really happy with the turnout and grateful everyone was able to have so much fun. I had fun putting it all together. I love throwing parties!
